today has got to be the most awesome day that i've had in a long long time. :) and there is only one underlying reason for this: that alfiyan was willing to skip a day of work (and hence money making) just to make me the happiest girl around. hehe.
i met him early in the morning at tampines interchange to accompany him to get his haircut - that surprisingly took only a very short while, and costed less than $10 too! i wanted to get a haircut myself, esp to make my bangs thinner but i am so broke at the moment. :( oh well.
and theeenn we went all the way back to woodlands's causeway point to catch a movie - TMNT! it was such a short movie, but luckily we had to pay only $12 for both our tickets (weekday + student rate). silly alfiyan showed the usher movie stubs from the movie we watched on sunday (shooter) and all that usher could say was, "thank you, and enjoy your movie." hahahah. just goes to show how attentive the cathay cineleisure staff are!
